The High Style Room — the runway night at Quench, Abeokuta
A runway down the middle of the club, and the room on both sides of it.
Fashion,
on the floor
The High Style Room is the night the main room becomes a runway. The floor clears down the middle, the lights turn to it, and the walk happens with the club standing on both sides — close enough to touch the clothes.
It is not a fashion show borrowed into a nightclub. It is a nightclub that stops for twenty minutes, watches a collection go past, and then carries on. The DJ never leaves the booth. The tables never move.
Entry is free. It is held in the main room, and it starts at ten like everything else here.
Four things, every time
Designers show. Models walk. The room decides.
These are the photographs from a previous edition. The next one is announced when the date is set — the quickest way to hear first is the community.
The looks that walked

Not yet dated
The High Style Room runs when there is a collection worth stopping the room for, rather than on a timetable. When the next one is set it is announced here first, and in the community before anywhere else.
